Our certifications & accreditations
The BE ATEX badge
Because your equipment is there to protect you, BE ATEX checks and certifies all equipment marked with this badge on our website and in our technical guide. As soon as you see this badge, it means :
- Device recalibration
- PPE Control and Verification
- Customized device configuration (alarm thresholds, calibration and recording intervals, start-up messages, etc.)
So you can be sure that your equipment is ready for use as soon as you receive it !
MASE Certification
BE ATEX has been MASE certified since June 2022. The aim of this certification is to promote the implementation of a health and safety management system in companies. Not only does this make for greater adaptability and efficiency, it also enables certified companies to use a common language.
MASE is a reference system. It is a basis for reflection that enables companies to better structure their HSE approach by exploring 5 areas :
- Management commitment
- Professional skills and qualifications
- Work organization
- Management system effectiveness
- Continuous Improvement
CATEC certification (contractor & external inspector)
The CATEC (Certificat d'Aptitude à Travailler en Espaces Confinés - Certificate of Competence for Work in Confined Spaces) is issued following training to master the risks associated with working in confined spaces. It is made up of a skills repository and the qualification of skills acquired during training.
This accreditation enables our operatives to better understand our work in confined spaces (e.g. fixed installation in a sewer system).
Electrical permit (grades H0V // B2 BR BC)
Electrical clearance is the recognition of a person's ability to safely carry out an electrical or non-electrical task on or near an electrical installation. This enables our teams to gain access to premises or locations reserved for electricians.
Type: H0V
- H: High Voltage Installation
- 0 : Non-electrical work
- V: Working near live parts.
Type B2 BR BC
- B: Low-voltage installation
- 2 : Electrical work supervisor
- R: General Service Manager
- C: Consignment manager
Level 1 Radioprotection permit (RP1)
This accreditation allows us to work on sites with nuclear activity, as it enables our teams to acquire and implement the appropriate radiation protection principles.
Our teams apply the provisions laid down by regulations. They are able to identify and understand risk, measure its consequences and know how to control it.
ISM ATEX certification
ISM ATEX or Installation, Service and Maintenance of electrical installations in ATEX enables our teams to design, build and/or maintain electrical installations in explosive atmospheres.
The approach thus revolves around 3 certificates of conformity:
- Design of electrical installations in ATEX
- Electrical installations in ATEX zones
- Maintenance of electrical installations in ATEX zones
N1 & N2 chemical certification
N°1 chemical clearance
It enables our teams to operate on hazardous industrial sites such as chemical and petrochemical plants and refineries.
In this way, we are able to grasp the context, understand the risks associated with industrial activity, understand the risks induced by the simultaneous presence of several companies, understand the content and interest of the prevention plan and associated procedures, know how to react in the event of degraded situations, notable incidents and accidents, integrate the vital need for responsible behavior in terms of safety and compliance with procedures and instructions, and acquire a safety culture.
N°2 chemical clearance
It enables our teams to supervise operators working on industrial sites and sign work documents (prevention plan, authorization, work permit, etc.). In this way, we are able to inform and empower supervisory staff, address the regulatory framework, and develop the role of external and internal safety players (CHSCT), etc.
> In short, level 1 is intended for operators and level 2 for supervisory staff and document signatories.
CACES
The CACES system is designed to reduce the number and severity of accidents on construction sites. It is a certificate of aptitude for safe driving, aimed at employees who are required to operate site machinery and lifting equipment, such as self-propelled forklift-trucks and cranes.
It's a good way for employers to comply with their obligations to test drivers' knowledge and skills, so that they can drive safely.
IATA certification
IATA (International Air Transport Association) certification for shipping, packaging and transport by air (excluding radioactive materials).
IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) impose training obligations on carriers, including packers, agents and agencies who carry out declarations, handling, loading, unloading, transfers or other cargo handling on behalf of the operator.
Our teams are trained every 2 years and are listed in the IATA international register of trained personnel. This accreditation allows us to :
- Identify the risks generated by dangerous goods, and be able to apply the relevant obligations
- To be able to apply the requirements of International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations on the transport of dangerous goods by air.
- Identify the roles and responsibilities of the various players involved in the transport of dangerous goods (consignor, shipper, carrier, consignee, safety advisor).
In addition to IATA certification, our teams have also undergone IMDG and ADR training.
IMDG Certification
IMDG stands for International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code. It is the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code published by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). It covers the following points:
- classification of dangerous goods
- regulations governing the transport of these goods
- packaging and labeling
- local seaport and port regulations
Our teams are fully conversant with the IMDG code to classify, package, label, report and ship dangerous goods by sea, and understand port policy.
ADR certification
Accord for Dangerous Goods by Road, the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road.
Our teams are fully aware of the risks posed by dangerous goods and apply the regulations governing overland transport.
Manufacturer approvals
All the equipment we distribute concerns your safety, which is why our teams are trained by the manufacturers to guarantee you the same cutting-edge expertise, but with the hindsight that only a distributor can have, thanks to the breadth and choice of our ranges.
We are also a manufacturer-approved maintenance center, because our role doesn't end with the purchase of the equipment. We support you throughout the lifetime of your equipment. Your equipment is there to protect you: it needs to be checked, calibrated and, if necessary, repaired to be operational on a daily basis.
With these authorizations, we have the know-how and spare parts to guarantee your protection.
