Fall Protection

Fall protection refers to all fall arrest devices and accessories.
We are talking about: 

• Fall arresters: Fall arrest devices are used to prevent operators from falling to the ground in the event of a fall.
• Work positioning: Equipment that keeps operators in their work position while leaving their hands free.
• Work positioning: Used to prevent users from reaching a location from which a fall is possible.
• Suspended work: Allows the operator to work with both feet off the ground while leaving their hands free.

Restraint and suspension devices are not designed to arrest falls. A fall arrest device must be used in addition.
