Experts in gas detection and Class 3 PPE, we are a specialized supplier as well as a manufacturer-approved maintenance center.
We specialize in respiratory and fall protection.
Based near Toulouse, we operate throughout France, and also accompany our customers internationally, in the French overseas departments and territories and in French-speaking Africa.

At BE ATEX, we specialize in solutions for gas hazards to provide you with the best configuration for your needs and constraints: the right gas detector, the right respiratory protection, the right fall protection!
Gas detectors
Even if a gas detector is not PPE, it is still a safety device which measures the concentration of a given gas, and is essential for sounding the alarm in the face of various gas risks (flammable, toxic, anoxia...).
Each device has its own role: from fixed gas detectors to protect installations, to portable single- or multi-gas detectors for operator protection. There are also beacons for use on construction sites, with colorimetric gas detection.
Class 3 PPE
In addition to gas detection, there are two essential Class 3 PPEs that protect the operator from lethal risks:
- Respiratory protection comes in two main families: filtering and insulating respirators.
- Fall protection is essential when working at height or in confined spaces.

Our history
BE ATEX was born in Montauban, in Grégory's father's garage, and started an Engineering Design Office "Bureau d'Étude" specializing in safety in explosive atmosphere "ATEX" , hence the name BE ATEX.
Awarded the Champions of Growth Label for the second consecutive year.
Partnered with new suppliers for fall protection equipment : Kratos safety et HarnaisPro.
Obtaining the Champions of Growth Label.
Published annually by Les Echos, this ranking is based on companies' revenue growth.
To register, companies must be independent French businesses. Registration is free; companies simply need to provide proof of revenue above a certain threshold.
