POLYTRON 3000 Transmitter Detector Unit

The Polytron 3000 is an intrinsically safe transmitter for the continuous monitoring of more than 60 toxic gases and oxygen in ambient air. It is part of a new generation of gas detectors developed on a modular platform.

Equipped with an electrochemical (EC) DrägerSensor, the Polytron 3000 takes highly stable and selective measurements.
Its sensors are very resistant, meaning it can be used continuously in the harshest conditions all year long, both inside and outside.
It is a plug-and-play device, and offers the possibility to continuously monitor a whole range of gas concentrations in ambient air from a fixed point, depending on the DrägerSensor installed.

It consists of two components: a docking station, which can be mounted and connected in advance, and a transmitter. Once the sensor is inserted, the device is ready to use.

It is easy to maintain thanks to the viewer on the front, which can be used to inspect the gas value measured and operate the two potentiometers.

It is designed to be connected to the Dräger Regard or Unigard LT control panels, but it can be connected to a PLC under the following conditions:

• 4-20mA input signal
• Operating voltage between 12 and 30V DC

The EC DrägerSensors have a long service lifetime and are very stable. They deliver fast results and high levels of accuracy. They can be used to take selective measurements of very low concentrations of toxic gases and oxygen in ambient air.
