SEARCHZONE SONIK Fixed Gas Detector

The Searchzone Sonik is an advanced, SIL2-certified ultrasonic gas leak detector for hazardous zones. Rather than indicating the type of gas detected, it responds to the ultrasonic sound pressure level produced by gas leaks. It provides protection against toxic or flammable hazardous gas leaks, regardless of environmental conditions.

With its bright LED, it provides clear visual indication of instrument status. It can be mounted on a plate, a stand or any other elevated site infrastructure to cover the zone you want to protect, with a sensing radius of 20m. You can connect to the Searchzone Sonik remotely via Bluetooth™ with the mobile app, so you can configure and maintain it without putting yourself in danger.

Available in painted stainless steel, it has two cable entries for easy wiring with the M25 or 3/4” NPT options, as well as a wide range of outputs including 4-20mA relays, Modbus® and HART®.
The Searchzone Sonik device is ATEX, IECEx and cULus approved for use in either Zone 1 (gas) or Zone 21 (dust) hazardous zones as well as Class I Division 1 or Class II Division 1 locations.

Applications and operating environment:
This device is particularly well-suited to hard-to-reach areas and open or well-ventilated areas such as floating production, storage and offloading vessels, gas turbine power plants, compressor stations, gas storage facilities, petrochemical processing plants, refineries, and offshore and onshore oil & gas installations.
