However, the resistance of the material used in the limited-use protective suit to mechanical stress and flames is not as high as that of the reusable Dräger CPS 7900 chemical protective suit.
The Dräger CPS 5900 suit has been specially developed for use in less hazardous conditions, such as carrying out control measures or transferring liquids without risk of explosion.
It meets the international requirements of fire brigades, rescue services and industry for single-use protective suits. It is the world's first chemical protective suit to be certified according to EN 943 Parts 1&2 (ET), NFPA 1994 Class 2, SOLAS (pending) and GUV-I 8671.
